How strange Nik.
I used to find exactly the same thing when I DID paint lots and lots of figures.
All of a sudden the motivation would completely disappear....Then return with an absolute vengeance !
Glad to see you're 'back in the groove'.
Cheers - Phil.
Ahh the Harwood sap is rising! Good to know! Still looks like you have been busy with dystopian stuff... 8)
When I drop into "can't be a***d" mode I find it's beneficial to pick up a book and read. It only needs a few ideas to start chasing each other for the sap to rise again. :)
If I don't have the time or inclination to paint, I will always attempt to do something else that is gaming related. At least I get my fix that way :).
I usually find watching a film or a documentary on the subject or period helps motivate me.
Painting ACW Confederates at the minute so Glory and Gods and Generals it was! LOL
Would be surprised if you didnt get the urge to be a hedge preacher after watching Gods and Generals, it has more religion in it than the Greatest story ever told
