Well. I've finally got my 10mm painting to, what I consider, a pretty good standard and would not be TOO embarrassed to show them.
NOW!!!!!! after returning back to the photo forum after a few months, I find that the standards have SKY ROCKETED!!!!!!!
So PLEASE. Just to preserve my sanity.......................STOP IT,STOP IT,STOP IT!!!!!!!!!
Seriously though. Congrats to each and every one of ya. Now when I hit the painters "Wall", I get all the inspiration I need by enviously lusting after the eye candy on the forum. Keep it up boys

I've thought this for a long time, Dave. How do they do it? With the best will in the world I just can't keep my hand steady enough. :'(

For simple mortals, try painting lighter then using inks.
I agree, with painting standards: I was running at my limit before last years AWI project, and then Andymac gave me a load of great pointers. I think the idea is ask, just like Dougie's Falklands kit, most people are all to happy to drop hints.
My unit standards are either preprinted or 'impressionist'!
