I've only ever visited when topics such as this pique my interest. Everytime I come away wondering why people bother with TMP.

Same here.
I'm frequently amazed at some people's high regard for their own opinion.

The topic bored me after the 3rd post  ;D

They are too purist over there, cant even have a laugh. I like to refer to this topic on TMP:

If you just read the second post in that topic, you'll ne offended if you ever played sci fi.

I can't understand why there's so much elitism on miniature forums, people need to get a grip, aren't we're just talking about miniatures and wargames for gods sake  :(

Interestingly, a mate of mine said to me yesterday "They're a prickly lot on the Pendraken forum, aren't they? I only mentioned Korea and they jumped all over me."

"O wad some Power the giftie gie us

Maybe he ran afoul of our resident Asian Tiger?

Speaking of which, what is the status of this? And by this I mean the various Korean/Chinese/Asian stuff that has been asked about, not only the nineteenfifties bits.

We've not made a lot of progress on the foot, but we are working through some of the vehicles mentioned, like the PT-76 and the Cent's.

I didn't press him for details, merely saying what most people on this thread have said - it's unlike us. He's not noted for whinging, though.  :(

I hope he comes back for another visit.  Has he tried the Totty thread, not much prickly in there!

No Nik this is not a challenge - we do not need to see smooth ones - we know they exist and remember this is a public forum.  :d

If we know smooth ones exist, and we know there are hairy varieties, I suppose the challenge would be stubbly ones...!   :D

But yes, I would then have to edit them for suitability... in Photoshop... close up for accuracy...!   :D
