Yes, well, while you had Ivanhoe (with Roger Moore) we had Floris (with Rutger Hauer) !!!

A quick search for Floris on YouTube should get you some episodes. But they are in Dutch, ofcourse!

I just watched that movie masterpiece, 'Hobo with a Shotgun' (2011) last weekend.  Obviously he was the hobo.  Funny, stupid, graphic.  It lost me when the bad guy took a flamethrower to a school bus filled with young children.  Best part was when the bad guys go to kill him and one of them was wearing hockey skates (don't ask why, only reason is because the movie was made in Canada) and Rutger gets the guys skate into a toaster then pushes down on the handle.

I'll always watch 'Blind Fury' when it comes on TV.

Is it just me or does Mr Hauer always look a bit camp?

Hi

Anybody seen him in flesh and blood.

It`s rather good, he`s the leader of a band of 16th century mercenaries in a war ravaged land.

It`s barmy but good.
