One for the AVBCW crowd here, and a cracking little model it is too! The Birch gun was the world's first practical SPG, built in 1925. Built upon a Vicker Medium Mk II chassis, with an 18pdr and then a 75mm gun on top, the project was unfortunately abandoned in 1928 due to political pressure.

The little chap in the front needs his head adding after it's been moulded, before anyone asks! This one will be going into a plastic mould, so it'll be ready to go in the next couple of months!

Which gun is that? It looks shorter and thicker than the photo. Or is that just the necessities of casting?

The gun will thin down during the two sets of moulding, so the barrel will be thinner on the final model. I'll have to check with Mart about whether it's the 18pdr or the 75mm.

We could supply some if folk wanted them, just some WW1 artillery crew should do it.
