We previewed a couple of these at the end of last year, but now we've got the full set here at Pendraken HQ, so it was time to get some pics taken! This lot are at the top of the moulding queue, so we'll be getting these done asap and they'll be replacing the current codes very soon.

Lovely jubbly - and just what I needed to convince me to expand my TYW cavalry this year...!
Love the look of those cuirassiers.
Those are superb! I can see whats coming. I have 25mm Napoleonics and ECW in the attic. I have stacked up boxes of 15mm Napoleonics and 30 years war/ECW in my office. I am now well into building a 10mm Napoleonic army. It doesnt need Bletchley Park to see a pattern emerging here. ;D
I like the look of these - I'm sure they can get added to some existing armies without the need for an ECW army.
Very nice...
Italian wars for example.
I'm a bit confused with the Morion helmet, wouldn't it be a latest features in Renaissance ?

A lot of equipment/armour from the earlier wars was stored and brought back into use, so there would be quite a mix and match appearance quite often.

Gen. Montgomery mentions in his memoirs that he saw an 8th Army soldier in a jeep in Libya wearing a top hat. What's a morion at Marston Moor to that?
They look great. Just what I need to complete my armies, which ar ecurrently a little hevay in the foot as it were :)

Hot, hot and hot :D
I was thinking about a 15mm army for the period, but with those figs available :-\
Very nice - when can we order?
Also they would be suitable for 30YW which is a much ignored gaming period in 10mm
Good question,Bernie! And when can we order your ECW rule set? :-\ :-\ :-\
Mollinary
Rules out for SELW - hopefully with lots of the new ECW figures!!
SELW? But that is eons away - I was hoping for SALUTE!

Hi Mollinary
Salute will be Republican France 1870-71
SELWG will be ECW as campaign system should be finished by Gareth by then - battlefield rules been ready many a year. This will also give me a chance to paint up a dozen or so packs of the new ECW cavalry!

We'll still have the moulds here, so we can still supply them if folk need them, no worries there.
Apropos which, what happened to those old armoured Turkish halberdiers?
Excellent, the cuirassiers look particularly promising. Now where's my wallet? :)
Cheers,
Aart
armoured Turkish halberdiers? Tell me more????
Wow- hold on a minute! Back up the horses, was that confirmation of 1870 rules to follow 'To the last gaiter Button'? Permission to be excited? ;)
ML,
Sure looked like it to me!!!! ;)

The figures are excellent. One query concerning the Scots cavalry. Do you plan to bring out a figure armed with the lance? The Scots were noted for using lance armed cavalry in the ECW - Scots lancers had an impact at Marston Moor and contemporary accounts mention the front rank of Scots cavlry regiments being equipped as lancers at Dunbar in 1650.

I bought a pack of "Armoured Turkish Infantry" about six years ago. They seem to have dropped off the list since then.

Can you not keep them in the listings anyway, they are still good figures?

I'll have a look at adding them somewhere, maybe at the end of the codes.
Those are beautiful. Much more than what I hoped for. Actually, I was currently working on a bunch of Swedish light cavalry and Finnish Galoppers but looking at this I might have to hold off until these sets are on sale.
Can we hope for some more Arquebusiers in the future as well? O:-) (he added in the typical wargamer fashion :D )
Again, seriously beautiful models! Great job!
These look great!
Hope you re-du the dragoon figures as well since they are (IMHO) not very iconic to the ECW.

All the current codes are being replaced, so the lancers will be replaced along with the Dragoons.

Excellent! I will be waiting patiently to order these.
I hate to be a nuisance but I'm a bit less patient than good Rothgar68 so I have to ask - is there any specific time planned from which on you will start having those on the store? I'm planning my first six months of 10mm minis. :)
We've been casting off the master mould, so I'm hoping to get them done for the March releases. They will be replacing the current codes, and the old sculpts will be added in somewhere in case anyone still wants any.

We've got another batch of ECW's for you this month, with a mix of both revamps and new sculpts! This completes the planned additions at this point in time, so we'll now be heading back to the Naps and some WW1 stuff. These are going straight into a mould this weekend hopefully, so we can get them all moulding up in time for the March releases.

Superb Leon!
Those are going to go like hot cakes!
ML!
This is not helping me maintain focus on Dux Bellorum Leon :'( ;)!
NUTS :d
Like I need another distraction... :D
Will they be available to buy in March - I hope?
Hurrah - a dog! :-bd
A full-sized poodle at that. :)
So very excellent! Can't wait to buy it all!
I'm not an expert on the period would these all work for TYW?
cheers
These do look lovely.
My favorites clearly are the fact that the dragoons got a drummer and the marching musketeers. Great stuff and I'm very much looking forward to the release. When I read "march releases" my first reflex was "argh, it's ages until those get released" but then I realized that we're halfway through February already. It's scary how time flies. :D
@Fenton: From what I can see they'd work splendidly. I'm doing TYW as well and I use all kinds of ECW minis. Even the personalities are no problem to use. I'll make sure to get those and use them for officers. (great, due to amazing upcoming Pendraken releaes not only my cavalry painting plans are delayed but also my officers plans. Oh, and any further musketeers ;) ) The poodle will be turned into a shepard's dog for the camp. :)
I assume that should say "Charles 1"?
Mollinary
Believe it or not when i was at school (25 years ago) we never learnt anything about the ECW, it was all ww1/ww2. So its not a period i know much about.
These look cracking, and may be my next guilty pleasure after i have finished my AWI armies for Maurice
Cheers,
Craig

Do I like them? God help me wallet once these darlings hit the moulds! I love them, particularly the leadership - though I think Rupert would be more adequately served with a set of beanstalks than with his poodle.. ;)
Great job Pendraken. =D>

These do look brilliant. All of them - I certainly wish the mounted dragoons had been available earlier. Curiously enough, my favourite among the personalities is the general who has no name - Voldemort, perhaps?
I also think the mounted officers are excellent, and just what I need. All it takes now is for Bernie to get those rules produced and it will re-kindle my enthusiasm for getting the figures out of the boxes and onto the table! :D :(

Are you going to do open handed pikemen?
All the pikemen I know are as tight as a duck's a**e!

We've been asked a few times, but it's not something we've got on the designers schedule yet. We'll have a look at getting the master mould out and drilling the pikes out of a few.
