Title: Huzzar for King Frederick

Close ups of my first battalion for WSS (I realise my painting doesn't stand the close up that Wordpress has given it!) plus a link to see the recruiting process in full.

Very nice indeed. So on to the inevitable question, what base size did you settle for.

20mm square. On a 3 man frontage that is just over 40% of a 45mm frontage the BP rules use for three figures - 40% being the ration of inch/cm so 25mm figures -->10mm, use cm instead of inches on the table.

Must admit it looks like i'm heading back to 2x2cm bases with 2x3 figures on just as you've done. My trials with 2x3cm ultimately haven't worked out. I suspect1 i'll be making sabots/moving trays for my units so i can add a bit of depth that way if needed.
Cheers,
Andy
