I have noticed that this is the quietest time on a normal day for the forum...
Mrs Lemmey & I walked along the canal to the Globe Inn, a local waterside tavern for a pint, which gave our 4 month old time to nap in her pram.
What did everyone do this week? :-\
I went and watched Musselburgh Rugby Club firsts beat local rivals Haddington. Had a couple of pints during the game and I'm now cooking tea for the children.
The fun I have.
Street art.
Please tell us more Barbarian? Sounds fascinating.
Went to look at a house to rent. Close to the station and with a room big enough to take a twelve foot by six foot table. Definitely on the cards.

Fed and cleaned out the chickens, cleaned out the guinea pigs, mopped the kitchen and dining room floors, hoovered the front room and polished and dusted downstairs.
Cracked a beer and watched the France/Wales Rugby league :)
Just about to have a bath before settling down to watch Warhorse ;)
Did some DIY that has been on the cards for a long, long time, then started on a promised bespoke mirror frame for our daughter. After that a quick tidy up of the garage and a bit on the garden. Kept the kids out of the way of SWMBO who is not feeling too well at present. All in all a fairly routine Saturday. Now getting ready to watch Merlin with the family :).
Watched Tottenham vs Chelsea on box, watched Star wars episode 3, waiting for the boxing to come on featuring local lad Kell Brook. Think i need to get out more!
Laundry, swept the floors, nursed a wee hangover, then watche Chunichi beat Yomiuri in the baseball.
Drove down to St Ives for a week's holiday
A lot of the afternoon involved shoveling horse poo, and then feeding all the other animals.
Such an exciting life. ;)
Actually did a bit of painting, which is a bit of a change. Hopefully more progress tomorrow.
As I am on nights I slept all afternoon. Got up had breakfast about 1800. Quckly put some varnish on some 10mm Polish fron Sinister Bend Miniatures, so they will be nice and dry for basing tommorow morning. then went to work.
Actually doing a workshop to young (and less young) people to teach them how to use spray paint (not only). We have a project to decorate some panels outside the youth center of the town.
Went to the local wargames show, Skelp, and spent my cash on Dystopian Wars, rules and a French fleet. Didnt really have an option as it was my clubs show, then spent an hour being ridiculed by Leon because of my new Panda character in World of Warcraft. I count that as a Saturday afternoon well spent. Look forward to a new range of Kung Fu Pandas, all named Gordon. ~X(
Well, I spent the afternoon preparing for the game I’m running tomorrow.
Now you know Bryon that we will all expect pictures.
I spent the afternoon looting candy buckets and collecting masks for my Worgen! : ) While my wife finished the achievement "Friends on the Farm." Once the kids got home, we picked apples from our tree and went and fed the buffalo and elk out at the reserve. Really a lovely day.

I take it you play on the US Realms Sir, shame really, we could have done some raiding together, provided of course that you arent in that namby pamby faction, the Alliance.
I went for a stroll in London yesterday, was a bit busy
Shopping for new portable CD player (back to classes next week and it's a very long 'bus ride to Bang Na campus, so this isn't really a luxury), then baked a gateaux savarin au Frangelico. Also introduced an Italian visitor to the joys of Thai vegetarian festival (mirabile dictu, Thais can make palatable vegetarian food, a rare talent).
Late evening....um, where's the parental control on this thing? ;)
SWMBO and I took our two year old son for a bear hunt, (poke around the woods) and exploring castles (folly at a view point) and scampering around a play ground.
Saturdays for us is usually spent as family time, sunday afternoons for me is then sacred hobby time :)

:D
Went for a stroll with the other half along the River Lea Navigation, from Broxbourne up to the Carthagena lock. Bit muddy, but very very peaceful. I-)
Hey Gordon, my wife and I played Horde for a couple of years and just switched to a different server on the Aliiance side. Just needed a change but I sure miss Undercity and I have way too much skin. :)
Duane
Horde for life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, what do you expect, with Lady Sylvanus as our pinup girl. :D
I was at work :(
Cheers,
Aart

Here’s a teaser photo. I ran this game today at the local IMPS show. As you can see the conditions for taking photos weren’t the best. I’m setting this game up again next weekend and I will put together one of my battle reports. So that’s what I’m doing next Saturday afternoon. :)

This photo was taken just after starting turn 1. Can anyone identify the battle?
Not really, but the Rebs look a touch outnumbered. :o
Looks very tasty though !!
Cheers - Phil.

Nice report and pics Richard.
Cheers - Phil.
Cool report!
My guess is the battle (name I've forgotten) where 'Stonewall' Jackson gets his moniker.
Antietam/Sharpsburg?
Looks a bit like the Battle around the Cornfield.

you are correct!
Sorry for the confusion. :-[
The site is Richard Bradley's, who took the Photos, wrote the report, and incidentaly also wrote the rules.
I only ran the First section and command group.

The good news is she is getting over a dental op and the sedation has not fully worn off and hopefully she will not remember reading your post's about hoovering and cleaning don't mind the drinking and watching Rugby!

Martin, you need to reassure your good lady wife that we were only talking about the one saturday in the calendar year when there is f*** all on the telly worth watching, no wargame scheduled with the lads and no shows to go to!
