I have looked all over the net, and the pic Clibinarium posted on another thread is the best one I've seen!
1) On the Pendraken officer- is that a Gorget round his neck? want to be sure before I paint it gold.
2) There appears to have been a turn back colour

is there a list by regiment anywhere? Do they all have red gaiters/leggings?
3) Belts - white or leather/buff?
Cheers
Hussar, if you dont mind spending some money, I would recommend you to buy Robet Hall's book about uniforms of Prussian Army in WSS, available also on CD.
You can also use my pics of figures painted by Pawel, shown in this thread: http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=586.15
All blue clad regiments are Prussians.
From top to bottom:
- Alt Dohna
- Lottum
- Donhoff
an in the next post
- Fusilier Garde
- Kanitz
As you can see, there were no standarisation, some regiments wore red gaiters, anothers - white or even blue.
Belts were natural leather.
They have no turnbacks - Baccus' pictures show the color of lining of the coat.
Officers often wore red. Drummers in Alt Dohna regiment had yellow cuffs and gaiters while the rest of regiments had blue ...
If you need info for specific unit, feel free to ask.
Thanks.
Can only find the Hall in $, not this side of the pond.
Thos are very pretty pics.
My loose terminology- I know not 'turnbacks' - I was talking about cuffs, which I assume come from turning back the sleeve
I'm about halfeay through painting - done the major colour blocks. Blue coat, red cuffs, red leggings - looks liek the home end at the Nou Camp!
