Aside from the fact that I don't do long-winded poetry, the cynic in me wonders what else they can find to heap on the bandwagon. =)
Just think what Peter Jackson will do with it when it's made into a film! :D
I can cope with long poems if they're written in an accessible way. Seamus Heaney's Beowulf is magnificent for example.
