Title: Telegraph poles
Post by: sulphur on 09 October 2012, 09:34:26 PM
Hi im looking for telegraph poles to make my streets have a bit more detail, any ideas where or if I can get them. Also looking for anything else that would add that detail that makes the finishing touches ie oil drums, sandbags boxes ect Thanks Kev.

N scale railways is going to be your best bet I think, there's a few options on eBay.

Hi,

Yes, N gauge railway stuff is the best solution.  Here is one.  Google 'N gauge model railways' and you will find loads of suitable stuff out there.

I've got some 'N' gauge ones in my drawer here at work waiting to be based. I think they are PECO ones, but from memory they were £3.50 for 8 single and four double poles. The latter could easily be cut in half to make another 8 poles.

Thanks everyone for the replies ill try N gauge. Im making a Viliers Bocage themed game with Michael Whitmans Tiger attack on British column. Its going to take some time but willl have pictures whens its done, I have a couple of vehicles painted including Whitmann 222 Tiger and am collecting buildings etc at the moment, also going to SELWG next week so hope to pick up some bits there. Cheers for now Kev.
