Thought it'd be interesting to start a thread seeing what Pendraken goodies us forum members are currently painting up as opposed to what Pendraken are modelling :)
Just a brief summary with perhaps a link to a blog or another thread? Although I haven't updated my own blog in ages :-[
Having just received a (super-fast) delivery of ECW to start gaming "Pike & Shotte" with, I'm just starting on the first few bases of a Royalist battlia; a pikeman block under Captain Robert Levens' colours. Very impressed with the models and was interested to see the thread that the range may be 'refreshed' in 2013...
Hopefully I'll update my blog at some point ;)

Next on the painting bench (after 3 very large boxes of buildings and some 100 or so 18mm 1806 Prussians) is 1870 French Imperial Guard.
All of it.
Hurry up with those limber crews Techno! ;)
As soon as the figures for converting arrive, I'll be straight on with them Lemmey. ;)
Cheers - Phil
Eleven APW cavalry samples to send to Fernando to complete the 600+ I am looking to get by the New Year. They have been sitting on my desk for a month, and I cannot get into them. Any ideas short of mood enhancing drugs, greatly appreciated!

Are they for the Fire and Fury games you had in mind? 600+ is one hell of a lead mountain if its sat in front of you :o Even with 10mm I get put off with more than 20-30 stuck to my painting sticks if they're on my painting table in view :(
Personally I always go with a relevant movie if I can when I'm working through a project... but you can only watch "Cromwell" so many times painting ECW before misquoting Richard Harris "God... Damn this film" ;)
I'd be very interested in a review of Fernado's 10mm work though, upon their return at Christmas. Might help me with some of my stalled projects...
I've got a brigade of FPW Bavarians on the painting strips right now. Then it's a brigade of French guard.
AWI British line to finish and Americans to rebase, plus WWII on the way :)
Once is too many times for Cromwell. Rather take some time out to read a few 17th-century authors.
I finished off a unit of Elven spears yesterday that had been at the part painted stage for months.
Most of what I have been painting lately hasn't been Pendraken as I am painting Empire and Araby for a big Warmaster game. This is one othe reasons that my painting diary has been a bit thin on updates over the summer.
Started the first test-pieces for Kursk - one Tiger and four elements of SS panzergrenadiers. Oh, and undercoated the first three squadrons of the 1866 Saxon reiter division.
Rebasing my WWII Germans for IABSm, brits will be done when Leon casts them ;), 2 units of grenadiers to go and my SYW Austrians for Maurice are done (well 100pts anyway :D), carry on with my SYW Bavarians, and then into the Prussians, continue with Marlburians (pretty much all nations but starting with Battle of the Spires (Spreybach sorry misspelt that probably) so Hanoverians Hesse, Palatine, reich, Prussians, Dutch, Fench, Spanish, Austrians for something different, (pics of the above coming soonish when i can be bothered setting up some decent lights), Ancient Hoplites, umm Architect of War woods (they are so easy to do and look so cool I tell ya!), Timecast Buildings and a whole lot of terrain squares using 80 x 80 x 3mm (more on this later as a little Project How to probably).
Yes I'm mad, but hey I'm a kiwi :-)\

Bizarrely, I've now turned to playing DVD's of Tom Baker's first couple of years as "Doctor Who" ??? Not sure what Daleks, Cybermen, Mummies and Kraals has to do with the ECW but its working... First game of Pike & Shotte on Friday night, so hoping to have three units (one Pike & two Musketeers) ready for a simple battalia... simply stuff with which to learn the rules :)
WW2 Germans and Russians for the new BattleGroup:Kursk rules.

Yes, they are, but they also for the Realistic Wargames rule sets. I will have the whole Austrian Army of the North in 17 man battalions and 12-15 man cavalry regiments. Amalgamating them into bigger units for RFF is a doodle for the infantry, whose uniforms are pretty identical in this scale. More difficult for cavalry, but the practice of having pairs of regiments with the same uniform apart from button colour offers hope!
The 600+ mountain is sat in front of me, but it is in bags and ready to go to Sri Lanka when I get back to those samples!
On a review of Fernando, Chad started a thread on the Painting and Modelling section, titled "Fernando" on which I set out the results of my experiences with them. The Austrian infantry in the photos of my Jicin game are all painted by them.
Hope this helps

I seem to be suffering from painting schizophrenia - bouncing from 10mm to 28mm to 3mm and back again...at the same time, with all three scales, and multiple genres within those, all together on my painting stand.
I think I might be mad - or a genius ;) :D :d 8-}
I believe my Fellahin infantry will be field-ready by this evening. Then (God help me), some Egyptian dragoons. As a P. and S. and SYW man, I'm having trouble with the way you've got to do dismounted versions of modern cavalry as well as the mounted ones.
If you go further towards the 20th Century, FK, you find yourself having to do advancing and prone infantry. Now that is a pain. :(
Pendraken figures i'm currently working on:
WWI British for my Weird World War One project.
On the 10mm back burner (all part finished - will likely be 2013 for the finish line) i also have:
Franco-Prussian War French
'LotR Rohan' infantry
'LotR' Orcs of Saruman
Sci fi range
Dungeonworld

The only thing that would attract me in moderns would be WWI aircraft, which do look very pretty. But dull to play.
A very strange idea of "moderns" FK.

I'd say heavier-than-air flight was one of the defining features of the modern world. But then I have strange ideas, such as that "ancient" doesn't extend to Hastings, that "renaissance" doesn't include Blenheim, the Australia is in fact an eastern country, that grammar is an aid to clear language use, and that racism is the same offence whatever the pigmentation of those who commit it. I clearly don't belong on this planet.
I'm working in my orc n goblin army for 10mm warmaster, so I actually painting some pendraken orcs.

Indeed. I have now realised that the late 20th Century is now a valid historical period. ;)
errrr a 1:1 scale medieval knight. Just finished painting the boar on the shield.. does that count? :-[ :-[ :-[. I might actually have time to paint something in 10mm, or possibly write up some of the hunting games. but first to bed, after bandaging my sore fingers from all that leather work, linen thread hurts when it cuts into your fingers :'(
It is more of a case of what am I not painting at the minute.
For purely 10mm I am doing a WSS French Army, a thank you to Last Hussar for the uniform and flags. Two units done so far.

A Timecast Celtic village is about to become an Abyssinian settlement two millenia later. Doesn't do justice to their fancier architecture, I fear, but for a tribal outpost it'll serve. Those Timecast folk are really good about quick service, I must say; less than a week after order, it's on the workbench on the other side of the world.
At the moment, Rosenberg's corps at Wagram for GDB

Working on the last couple of Gripping Beast Jomsvikings for Saga- I had forgotten that I actually enjoy painting 28mm figures as long as theres only a couple of dozen!
Next projects are Pendraken German Falshcimsahdshahdgjshdgsdgsadsajdaers (can never spell that word. :'( ) and NWE Brits for IABSM's new campaign book thats just come out. Then it will be another Saga warband, this time Bretons using Conquest Games plastic Norman knights with a wee bit of converting.
