Just thought I'd pop this one up, would there be any interest in any of the aircraft offered here: http://www.creativemodels.co.uk/aircraft_1144_aircraft-c-2_42.html (http://www.creativemodels.co.uk/aircraft_1144_aircraft-c-2_42.html) If there's any which appeal, we can always look at getting some of them in?

I would certainly be interested in the WW2 types - particularly the Japanese. :)
Three S-37 Berkuts but not a single WW2 French plane, 6gadzillion American transport planes, the world of 1/144 plane models has a lot of catching up to do :(

Absolutely, yes please.
I generally get my aircraft off ebay, but they are quite expensive.
A JU87 for 1.99 (page 11) is a very good price, and they also have Typhoons.
The range you have shown is excellent but a little light on helicopters. My next project after I have enough Napoleonics complete, is early ‘80s cold war turns hot and I have been getting a few bits in anticipation. One helicopter I must have is the MI-24 Hind and I can’t find these anywhere, Revell used to make them but they seem discontinued now.
Cheers, Rob :)

any use to you?
Thanks Gordon,
I have seen that yes. For any aircraft type I am afraid I prefer the ready finished models. I am not the most patient of painters and I'm always looking for shortcuts. I have never managed to paint an aircraft I was happy with, :'( I find them much harder than figures or vehicles for some reason. I have 8 mini-figs Huey's partially finished that I can't raise the enthusiam to get back to. :-[
If nothing else comes up I will get them but I do hope a finished model becomes available soonish.
Thanks again, :)
Phantoms would be ideal for air support in vietnam
;)
Hi Leon
Personally not that interested in these aircraft, maybe some more Zvezda, or the new Revell. I was excited when I heard that the Eduard Ju-52 was being reissued and then I saw that the kit would be selling for more than I can pick up Ixo/Altaya diecasts for :(. I'd stick with what wargamers' pockets will stretch to, too many choices otherwise.
Cheers

:D
I have used all these for SCW and early WW2 types and can recommend them.

The first three are white metal kits, the last resin. All require assembly and painting.

Hi
I'm pretty sure that Peter's Planes are resin rather than white metal. Also Don Schmenk has the following available in resin:-
Gladiator
Gamecock
Grebe
Gauntlet
Wapiti
Bulldog
Siskin
Fury
Demon, with floats if desired to do an Osprey
Beagle. The only monoplane!

The Revell Microwings are OK....but no US stuff.

Grumpy,
Indeed they are!

Yep, definitely. I'll need to check with our supplier and make sure they've got them in.
8)
I've just had a quick look, and we can't get any of the Zvezda stuff through our regular source, we'd need to set up an account with a different distributor, so I'll have to check how much the minimum orders, etc are on that.
The problem with the Zvezda Sturmovik is that it's the original single-seater Il-2 of 1941. To convert it to the far more numerous Il-2M, with the rear gunner, would take a fair amount of modelling skill - far more than I possess. :'(
