Really colourful, lovely photos! Nice work! 8)
Very nice - don't hide 'em away in a link though, bung 'em straight into your post - by grabbing the IMG link that appears below the photobucket thumbnail when you hover over it :)
Then you get this:

I was thinking to use Wargaming nineteenth century europe 1815-1878, by Neil Thomas. that should be a quick and easy game to play, and has army list for the 1st SH war. But I have not played it yet :( I need to paint more Danish infantry and cavalry, and of course Germans.
Cheers :-bd

Very nice! Hmmmmm? Would those outriders do for 1866 Saxon limbers???? :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\
Andrew
Nice paint job, Flodin. :-bd
And a good thought, Mollinary. If anyone knows we're all agog.
The Foot certainly but didn't the Horse have those hoplite helmets like Austrian Dragoons or Hussars.
I used Bavarians from 1870,shh don't tell! :-$
Very impressive and inspiring.

Those are superb!
I'm sorry... Why do I have a sudden urge to youtube Pippin Fort from Camberwick Green?
Too late:
;D :D 8) :D ;D
Is that "Pippinske Schanske"? ;)
Mollinary
Leon, new range needed! ;D
I gave in to temptation and used a few Crimean War Russian dragoons as Egyptian cuirassiers. Ah, the things one is reduced to by the shortage of figures. Do you think Africa Korps could be converted into Aztecs?
Now that would take a lot of time. ;)

Only if you gave them tarletons first.
And TRACKS of course. :D

Sorry, this has turned into an accidental hijack. :-[ Your figures are very attractive, sir. And probably the only model army in the world to fight that war (or am I being all provincial and ignorant?).
Thanks for the nice words, Fiercekitty :)
Did paint my last Danish Jeagers, but I do not like the pose of the jeager´s with the rifle on the shoulder, they seems to bee on a sunday walk, rader then skirmish #-o

Still a really great paint job, well done sir! :D
the 3rd Danish Battalion in m/48 uniform. Decided to paint these in a another shade of light blue and paint the staps in black, so that not all of my Danish infantry battalions look alike :)

Well, it's to expected with Jägers, they were probably hunting ducks only a few hours before!
Once again lovely work Flodin 8).
That next unit is great too! ;D
Very nicely done 8)

Flodin,
Love the Guard Hussars! You have a very distinctive style, and it really suits this conflict -congratulations =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> :-bd

Beautifull figures. And nice bases.
Excellent paint-job again, Flodin. And out-of-the-ordinary subjects. Will you be doing the opposition too?
He already has done!

I remember a sadistic teacher's threat to impose the line "I am hereafter to refrain from consuming revolting confectionery during Mr Craig's enthralling and enlightening English instruction periods" as a punishment. Though he never actually enforced it, and the description of his lessons was accurate.

Yes Hertslblue I will or has begun to paint a German army, as mad lemmey pointed out. At the moment it consists only of an infantry battalion, and two skirmish units. But the plan is to paint up at least 5 infantry, 1 skirmish, 3 artillery and 3 cavalry units more. I will not paint a pure Schleswig-Holstein army right now, but rather a mix of units from various German states, as Hanover, Prussia and so on :)

yes, they practiced exercise probably more than the line regiments were ;)
Thanks
It's a nice way to visually indicate troop quality and adds some variety to the basing :)
Like those, too !!
Cheers - Phil
Very clever basing! Will have to remember that for future! :)
I'm doing something similar for my AWI project. British and Continentals in neat ranks, poorly trained troops in messy ranks, and crap troops in groups with occasional lines.
Makes it really easy to tell the difference for movement and combat :)
