Title: How to re size PDF paper buidings?
Post by: sulphur on 30 September 2012, 09:56:08 AM
HI everyone I have managed to download some free buildings which are very good models mostly dutch, but I am having problems resizing them to make them fit 10mm. I adjust the percentage at the top of the screen to 50% or 75% trying to gauge a good size but when I print it always come out as the download size which is either too big or would suit 6mm. Can anyone help its probably something simple but I cant figure it out thanks kind regards Kev.

The percentage at the top of the screen is usually for viewing only. You need to adjust the scale in the printer settings. How to do that depends on your printer, but it should be in there with all the other options about paper size, orientation and so forth.

And welcome to the forum!

Is it a pdf download?  There's a couple of options depending on how they've put it together if so.  If you can highlight the plans, you could always copy and paste them into something like Word, where you could then reduce the size using right-click - 'Size' and then changing the percentages in there?

If you get stuck, feel free to send me the file, and I can sort it out for you.
