Yep - I would be - I've got these in 28mm for contemporary gaming & have Soviets & Afghans in 10/12mm (for Cold War Commander) but I'd like to replicate my 28s as single figures for Ambush Alley skirmishing...
I have Empress Miniatures too (for Force on Force and The Battlefield)
But thinking about 10mm to have vehicles...
Can I add:
http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=2652;sa=showPosts
For Tomorrow's War and Future War Commander, for 'New World Order' type scenarios, with resistance fighters and rebels.
I would be interested in
modern Brits/Afghans/Iraqi's
80's Brits/Americans/Soviets/Mujahadeen/African militia
Korea all
that should be enough for the next few weeks ;D
if I could have them all cast up by Xmas that would be grand :o that would give me something to paint in my last few months out here.
cheers
Sean
I am currently working on a Centurion and T54/55 also some other vehicles which are variants of a couple of modern vehicles which I have already made! which will be based on the Landrover hope this helps
Martin
Here!
Modern forces 80s onwards. Talk about Cold War going hot and such.
80s Soviets would be grand! Obviously BMPs and BTRs would have to accompany them ;)
I'd definitely be interested in Cold War era moderns, currently looking at Cold War Gone Hot in 20mm, but would rather do it in 10mm!
80s Sov Bloc please...
Soviets and Warpact, Americans, Germans, Brits, French and Chinese forces in the 80s would be my needs
Modern Germans & Belgians too! ;)
The modern supplement to IABSM is in development so that should generate some interest. Unfortunately I've had to go down the 15mm route for playtesting as there's squat around in 10mm :(
Not quite squat but not Pendraken
http://www.miniaturefigurines.co.uk/Catalogue.aspx?ScaleID=1&CategoryID=3
Not quite 10mm!
Actually they are, theyre just advertised as 12mm, in reality theyre a pretty good match for Pendraken 10mm.
A rapid test...

A more practical and infinitely more USEFUL test Barbarian is
(http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n17/GordonY/P1010417_zps5297d066.jpg)
12mm Minifigs on the left, 10mm Pendraken on the right.
And do be careful of the size of the gun B.
In the vast majority of cases, because the gun has to be fatter (in scale) for casting purposes it needs to be made longer than 'reality'.....otherwise the gun ends up looking rather 'stumpy' once it's on the model.
You have to 'cheat' on the proportions to make it 'look right' once it's on the figure.
And you won't know if it looks right, until it's actually on the soldier itself. ;)
What you've done looks very nice though !
Cheers - Phil.

Looks like it, but don't think it's amphibious.

Don't like the one on the left.
Me neither. I had a look on the range, can't say I'm pleased with them.
No me neither, but they (and their vehicles) do exist, and thats as close to 10mm as your likely to get.
That's why I've gone 15mm where it's much more developed. Hey stop throwing things at me :-* ???
definatley up for some modern stuff! ;)
All I want for moderns is Infantry in floppy hats/kepis/Helmets with HMGs and mortars, and I only need a couple of vehicles to make me happy, trucks, T55s and Technicals with the option of RRLs or HMGs. But I am waiting for Pendraken to do them mainly because I hate assembling Minifigs stuff, then when Mr Leon listens to my pleas I can get busy in the Peoples Republic of Zambowanga playing AK47.
Gordon Y
T54/55 is on the list of vehicles to come!
Mart678
Yeah but still need trucks, technicals, infantry and support weapons.

Agreed, trucks and technicals would be top of my list too.

Some of the modern U.S kit is good too, M-ATVs, Strykers all 11 of em 8) etc etc etc, a huge amount of Humvee's, buffalo Hemmt etc etc, and then the soviet stuff........ phew, cold shower!
there is so much scope for modern gaming, historical accuracy and so many what ifs
Let's not forget the real wars of the 20th Century - Six Day, Yom Kippur, Indo-Pakistani (x 2) etc. where there were some decent armour v. armour battles, not scruffy bandits driving around in converted pick-ups. Centurion and T55 are a good start. M47, M48 (no, they're not the same tank) M60 and various APCs and artillery - towed and SP - would be good. Let's do it properly.
Please count me IN for Ultra Modern stuff. I would be ALL OVER that.

Or Yanks and Chinese and Russians.
I'd be up for Modern Infantry-(British/French/Chinese/Australian-These could be the same, as they all use a bullpup rifle, maybe just different webbing and helmets.
African Militias and African civillians (Sub Saharan).
More animals-Hippos, Giraffes, Lions etc.
Rondavels/African huts.
Jeff
More moderns for me too!
Yep another period I have always wanted to do is the Sci-Fi on the Rhine - all the Warsaw Pact v NATO what-if battles
