Title: US Marines - Work in progress
Post by: Mexican Dave on 06 September 2012, 06:40:24 PM
Some photos good and bad showing my marines. I used the palm trees from Minibits and cut up the trunks and leaves and superglued them to the base.

More photos showing the other stuff on my blog.

That the "new" painting beureau Dave?

Looks way to well organised for me, my 6ft x 3ft desk has a painting area of about an A4 sheet, the rest if covered with paintpots and other rubbish.

Like them a lot, Dave, especially the embedded rocks. Wouldn't want to drive into one, though.  :D

The desk is working out great.

The rest of the room though is a complete disaster ;D ;D ;D

The palm trees take some time with snipping the tops off and drilling the a hole in the base as well as sawing them in half and cutting the leaves off. That probably takes a few hours. I even smooth the rocks with a file to give a good surface for the superglue.

Nuts I know. ;D ;D ;D
