Thanks for looking Andy
Very nice, what ruleset have you based these for?
The figures are all based for Rapid Fire written by Colin Rumford
Thanks Andy
have you tried BKC? Gives a much faster game with less faffing about, no trying to roll a 6 so the poor mug with the PzFaust can perform a "heroic action". That said, if played as what it actually is Rapid Fire is a very good skirmish ruleset.
Looking good, thanks for posting them! Matching bases across the rest of the table as well, which makes everything look better I think.
Very nicely done Andy 8)
Great stuff Andy !
Cheers - Phil.
Good work, Andy. Look forward to seeing the complete division. 8)

Hi there Gordon to be honest I've only ever played blitzkrieg commander a couple of times and didn't really get on with it however I may give it another go sometime.
thanks Andy
Late war can be a bit mehh, but it shines for early war because of very cheap units and limited and poor commanders, so you just know that a random major chunk of your army is gonna be sitting on their butts doing nothing this turn. Also try playing it with the enforced turn limit, that adds a whole heap of pressure onto the attacker.
Hi there Gordon
I took your advice and tried Blitzkrieg Commander again. And to be honest I can't understand why I didn't enjoy it the first time I played. I can now happily report that I am a convert and absolutely love Blitzkrieg Commander.
Take care
Andy

I must say i wouldn't want anything else for ww2 but BKC. I find the games very enjoyable and when you have the hang of it they go very fluently! I must admit i have a tendancy to roll double 1's ;D
It is all about scenarios and turn limits though, straigth out fights are not that interesting.
Peter if you or anyone in your group has access to the BKC 1 book, you'll find that the (missed out on BKC II) campaign section makes the scenarios even more fun. We played a year long campaign in the Western Desert with new vehicles becoming available as they did historically. Lets just state that the Italian Stallions kicked the 8th Army back to the other side of the Suez, the ability to destroy a planet is nothing compared to the power of rolling double 1s, three times in a row in one game. :)
Gordon, the campaign rules can be downloaded freely of the specialist games website! Along with other interesting stuff!
I rely on my trusty v1 of the rules for that, lets face it its a lot harder to lose than 2 printed A4 sheets. Plus its a nice reminder of how long I've been playing these rules.
Never had the first book. Really like the separate ap/at rules though. Gives that "oh sh*t it's a tank" feeling :)

Two printed A4 sheets? The V2 I downloaded fills an A4 ring-binder. Four-fifths of that is army lists admittedly.
He means the bkc campaign rules:
