Picked this up alongside Dux Bellorum for £8.39 and have to say i am intrigued by the rules.

Covers RCW, SCW, AVBCW etc complete rule set including army lists and random event cards (which you have to photocopy or DIY). Skirmish scale (individual figures to a base) with squads of between 8 and 12 figures. Might be a bit fiddly for 10mm but cant see the outlay being much above £30 for both protagionists so might give this a try.

Got some russian WW2 and early brits hiding somewhere so might have to give them a run out as Republican and Nationalist regulares!

Thanks for the feedback Nosher. Let us know how they pan out when you've had chance to have a game or two with them.

We play Force on Force (SCW) with 10mm (http://smolensk.homelinux.org/?p=373 (http://smolensk.homelinux.org/?p=373) for example, clic on pics to look at them), individually based without any problems.

Thanks for your link !

Hi

There is a related version called "And was Jerusalem builded here?” which are available at http://www.empressminiatures.com/BCWRULES.pdf (http://www.empressminiatures.com/BCWRULES.pdf) if you want to have a quick look at the authors style, their design and format. I understand that there are differences though. From the author - "I think that I developed the ones on Empress a bit more although it was a few years back so I cannot remember. They [A World Aflame] have been developed even further....actually a great deal further....... and will be published by Osprey next August."

I am thinking of trying them out using them with multiple figure bases.

Cheers

Love to hear how these rules play out, also looking to play about with AVBCW  with possibly figures mounted individually so I can play skirmishes.
