As part of my reseasonably large Birthday Bash order - and especially as I couldn't make the meeting - I ordered a load of figures for the French Indian War - I'm looking for suitable 'back woods' buildings / log cabins and a stockade outpost for the French to attack.....any suitable buildings out there or do I have to sccratch build with cocktal sticks etc... Thanx
Kelvin
I don't have the link but Google "Jerrys Hobby Junction" - a small American company that does frontier cabins in N gauge. Should work well with 10mm. Have a look and see if they will work for the French Indian War.

Easy enough to make with cocktail sticks - 50p per 100 in Asda.

Sunray - thanks fo suggesting Jerrys Hobby Junction - if possible I prefer not to import - I've got stung too mant times by Customs, VAT @ 20% and Post Office charges,
I have found Langton Miniatures 10mm AW! buildings http://www.rodlangton.com/starfort/10mm.htm - I thought he only did ships....and Blue Moon do a FIW fort in 15mm http://www.frpgames.com/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=66214 which could be easily replicated with cocktail sticks ....as they say - watch this space
Thanx Kelvin
Yes, totally agree. I have the odd lecture tour Stateside, so keep a shopping list for each visit.
Glad you got sorted. Send in a few pics when you have them painted up.

If you are fighting raids into Canada, the Pendraken French farmhouse and stable are not out of place
