Germy, wow really nice to hear from you  :)

I`m your biggest fan..... if it weren`t for the sculpts you did (dungeon tiles, furnishings, monsters, etc etc etc) I wouldn`t have discovered this amazingly addictive and utterly unique ability to go dungeon crawlling in 10mm.

I`m in awe at your abilities.

Truly honoured to hear from you Germy.

Steve.

Hi Germy,

It's great to see you here! I have a dungeon complex that consists of five rooms (two small, two medium and one huge (I use lots of those room extension pieces!)) and plenty of long passageway pieces to connect them. This past weekend was very quiet and so I spent several happy hours playing with the set, using a modified version of Labyrinth Lord rpg rules which I've been tinkering with. My little heroes didn't fare very well, but there were some great moments. Next I've got to try six-sided's rules that have been posted here. They look just excellent.

In playing this weekend a couple of things struck me: first, how great the whole thing looks set up. I place a black cloth on the table I play on, and find that really "pops" the dungeon set and the colourful monsters therein. Second,
being 10mm, the pieces can sometimes be a little fiddly to move, but I found I got better as I did it more.

Finally, my two daughters are quite taken with the Pendraken set. They look at many of my figures, but I think the fact that there is furniture and that the monsters are just so darned beguiling is a real pull for them.

So there you have it. There is at least one guy out there playing with your stuff (yesterday!), and I know from these boards that there is at least one more...

Oh, and check-out six-sided's rules on another post on the forum. Cool stuff!

Welcome Germy - good to see you here  8)

I'm definitely going to be going down the 10mm dungeoneering route at some point soon...having rediscovered my love for all things rpg, it seems rude not to do it in my favourite scale!  ;)

Just got to wait for Leon to pack / price a nice starter set  :P

Really good to see people talking about and liking the mini dungeon. Well not only that but playing with it!
It's almost enough to make me want to sculpt some more monsters  ;)

Would love to see pictures of your dungeons  8)

Oh and will check out the rules as well and happy to host them on my website as well (providing no one objects?)

Well, if you ever sculpt more monsters I will buy them! Hmmm, then I might need more rooms, and furniture, and...

Hi Germy, good to see you here.  As you can see, we're having a bit of a Dungeon Revival!

I've just had a look at your new website as well, it looks great, I'll have to send people over there for the pictures of the Dungeon Set.

Germy,

Good to finaly see the person behind my next project.  Ive just read your page on sculpting the 10mm dungeon and the pics has made me even more eager to start.  I saw at the bottom that you were concerned that people wernt getting into 10mm dungeoneering.  I think that with the release of Descent at £70 for a small number of rooms, corridors and monsters and with what you can get from Pendraken for the same cost people will start to switch.

Anyway just my 2p worth.

I personaly think its a great idea and think you should make more monsters and maybe even some caverny type rooms, just a thought.

Tata for now
Brian.

I'd be into it if you could get caverns as well, that would be a nice addition. A better value pack would be nice too I think you only save £1.50 buying the starter set but then again I can imagine it's pretty costly to cast.

Well, Brian and Dicehead beat me to it. I think caverns would be an awesome addition to the set!

I was just thinking, if you did some sci-fi ones with airlock doors and bits of sci-fi gubbins it would go brilliantly with the aliens sci-fi range.

Sci-fi would indeed also be fantastic.

Aliens in 10mm, actualy doing the movie, have some nice rules for them "comming out of the godammed walls!".

All good :)

I've got plans for this exact thing!  I wanted corridors with the aliens hiding in the walls, a sick bay, dormitory's, control room, external helipad, etc.  No idea when I'll get them done though.

I'll be doing a better value Dungeon Set with Adventurers and Monsters pretty soon.

Yes caverns with stalactites and stalacmites and all those dark cornes to hide monsters!

also the sci fi material will be great!! and how about a set of sci fi skirmish or even large battle rules?

I would definetly buy the science fiction set as well. Space Hulk games in 10mm would be a wonderful thing!!

If you did do a sci-fi one it might be worth making the squares a bit wider and a tiny bit taller so that 15mm gamers could get in on the fun too. As a bonus the alien creatures scale up fine with 15mm.

Personaly id like them all the same scale as the dungeon ones, i like the look on the fantasy groups face when they break through the final door and find a strange steel room with magical lights and noises comming from strange items.

Germy! Another face from LAF and TMP! I love your stuff, you know that, and the dungeon is still on my list of 10mm must haves. However, I would like to chime in and add that a Space Hulk corridor, room and airlock set would also be wonderful! *hint hint*

I'm still trying to find the time to get the four basic shapes finished up, but I'll get some pics as soon as I do.
