Title: BR78
Post by: mijalo on 26 August 2012, 05:22:39 AM
Are there any images of BR78 Bedford 3 Tonner. I just want to check what type it is (OY? OX? QL?) and whether or not it would be appropriate in a 1940 force.

I'm not all sure which version it is supposed to be, the cab seems too square - I wonder if it is based on a later version. It is a hefty model.

Thanks. That is the version introduced in 1941 (unless someone out there proves me wrong).

Its certainly like a Beford QL, though I think it is a bit squarer than actual ones, though from looking at photos there seems to be a couple of styles

This one seems squarer

This one seems more angular - but it may just be the angle of the photos

Cheers for the replies. Think I better look elsewhere for BEF transport.
