Title: Wild animals
Post by: Maenoferren on 22 August 2012, 08:37:12 PM
Hello chaps,
I am after some African wild animals for some hunt games. I have got Pendraken rhino's but was wondering if anyone knows where makes elephants, lions and the like... the big 5 would be ideal. :D
I have had a look at the model railway stuff and that is just silly money, but if needs must i will go down that route.
Cheers
Steve

Plenty of pachyderms in the Ancients range M - here's a bare one: http://www.pendraken.co.uk/ACR11-p6361/

And tigers, of course, in the Fantasy Samurai Apes range: http://www.pendraken.co.uk/FSA8-p5051/

They might be big though...and are Asian, not African, natch  :) Big cats though...and the only other big cats from Pendraken are in the German WW2 ranges  ;D

You could convert an Indo-China water buffalo into the African one?

Speaking as an African who lives in Asia, I should point out that a buffalo is a very different animal here and there. The difference is less between a lion and a tiger, both in appearance and in temprament.
What about crocodiles? We do need those.
