For the first time since 2008, I'm actually taking a week off and going away for a holiday! Although I'll still have the laptop with me for keeping an eye on things, but I won't be anywhere near the workshop! So if there's any delay on replying to emails, or confirming order payments on the website, apologies in advance.
I'll be back in the workshop next Tuesday, ready to tackle the couple of hundred emails which will be awaiting me!
:D
Have a couple of sunny days ! 8)
Cheers!!!
Have fun!
A week's holiday ? :-\......A phrase I'm not familiar with. ;)
You deserve it Matey ! Hope you have a great break.
Don't look at the laptop too often, or it won't seem like a holiday.
We'll all behave ourselves while you're away....Possibly ! ;)
Cheers - Phil.
Good for you Leon - hope you have a great time & the weather holds for you 8)
We'll keep the place in order...
#heads over to the Forum Bar Fight thread >:/ b-(
have a great one Leon - well deserved!!

There, fixed it for you! :D
Have a good one! :-h
Cheers,

First holiday in four years? That's barbaric. Even prison inmates get time off for good behavior.
Have a good one, mate. :-bd :-bd :-bd

... going away for a holiday!
If we don't get to see pictures afterwards it didn't happen. :P
You're very secretive about your destination, aren't you? But have a great one, wherever it be.
Have a great one Leon. And try to accidentally leave the laptop in the kitchen table. And the phone.
A well deserved absence.
I shall add another 2 orders to the email pile on monday then.
Have a good one Leon.

Unfortunately us self-employed have less rights than those inside .... >:(
Funny that, I'm off too in a couple of days. If I see Leon on my travels I'll tell you where he's been!
;)
Mark
Leon,
Funnily enough, I'm starting a few days off as well. Aim is to play a big (3,500 figures) Pendraken 1866 game at the weekend. Hope you have a great break, well deserved! I'll try and fly the flag and post a BATREP after the dust has settled..

I'm up in Ayrshire if anyone's interested! There's quite a few castles knocking about which I'm hoping to get along to over the next couple of days. And the Bird of Prey centre for the kids... honest! :D
Lucky lucky man!
Sounds good to me 8)

Not literally, I hope! Perambulating strongholds, now there's a concept. :D
Think those might be Ships of the Line.....
IanS
Went to Dean Castle at Kilmarnock today, which was a nice day out, mainly as it's completely free! Bit of an 'urban farm' for the kids as well. Next up on the list is hopefully gonna be Culzean Castle, which has one of the largest armouries in Europe I think? :-\
The weather's all over the place, from burning sun to absolute monsoon within minutes... very odd.
Least the Monsoon keeps the midges down.
IanS ;)
Nah Ian...
The little b*stards just put their little umbrellas up....Go and hide...and then come out with a vengeance, once the rain's cleared.
"Nurse !......More Piriton !"
I loathe them !
Cheers - Phil.
Is Leon back yet? Who let him go? Nik ... we told you to keep the doors closed!

Ah, but I
did, Major...forgot to
lock the bally things though...
I'm back in my cage now, the weather in Scotland scared me away...! My tally for the week was:
Red squirrels - 0
Red deer - 0
Buzzards - 0.5 (it was too far away for confirmation)
Otters - 0
Golden Eagles - 0
Castles - 14
Golf courses - 18
:D
You should have stopped by in Edinburgh my friend..I am a bit..well....disappointed shall we say?
No more <:-P <:-P <:-P for you Leon :P
Or come to sunny Dundee, regular visitors to the park opposite my place are :
Squirrels - squintillions of the little buggers
Foxes - usually 3 or 4 of them lurking in the bushes
Red Deer - hardly a week goes by without at least 1 of them turning up
Drunken sub 18s - as many as the squirrels, but usually more seen at the weekends
Never get any eagles but have seen a couple of UFOs.

We were on the other side of the country I'm afraid, although we'll be at the Premier Inn in Dundee for the Skelp show soon enough. I was directed into the nightmare of Glasgow's city centre road system by our rather helpful SatNav on one day, which was fun... :'(

Had the same problem with Leeds last week. You have to remember that all road-signs are designed for people who know where they're going. >:(
It's one-way systems and cities with multiple lane streets which get me, how am I supposed to know which lane I need when there's no signs to tell me? And then trying to change lanes at the last minute, with the in-laws behind us in convoy... ~X(

Good way to loose them...just saying ;)
The answer is to drive a battered Land Rover with bull-bars back and front. You can drive in whatever lane you like then. :d

You forgot the big solid spikes attached to the middle of each wheel Ray.....Along with the rotating blades ! ;)
Cheers - Phil.
Actually, I've often thought when observing the melancholy remains of a kitty that has been flattened by some careless bastard high on testosterone that the solution could be to have a much-publicised implant of about two ounces of Semtex into a significant number of domestic cats. NOBODY would drive too fast near a pet then.
Might be a significant increase in blown-in cat-flaps however. ;D
Small price to pay.
