My take on them as we used them in a Dystopian Wars game:

Watch them trash the Prussian battleship in grand style:

Good stuff !
Looks like great fun.
Cheers - Phil.
Just how i envisaged these tripods being used... :)
Superb stuff!
Now everyone sneeze over the starboard bow! ;D
Looking great! :) ;)
Now, if the battleship sits just the other side of the Marianas Trench...... just a thought. :D
Very nice 8)

I'm glad you like them!
As for the Marianas Trench, knowing my buddies, I provided the Martians with the Amphibious special rule. So they just skated over the water or something at half speed, just to prevent the odd canhedothat? and shouldntherollforthat? ;)
Excellent work sir!
I see the Thunderchild is taking a bit of a battering probably because it appears to have been made somewhere in Prussia @-).
Excellent work on the Jeff Wayne paintjob for the tripods too...very inspiring!
Its interesting to see the Spartan Dystopian Wars minis starting to be repurposed out of their excellent naval game. These together with the WWWI posts show how good a fit they are with Pendraken figs.
Something to ponder for the Sci-Fi / 'wierd' ranges Leon?

Nah, they've got to have a weakness somewhere. It's a law of nature. Just back off and let the bugs do their work. :d
