Are these any good?
Erm... never got on with them really, but people who like them love them.
Good for infantry heavy fights - Hoplites, Romans, Gauls etc but something missing when it comes to cavalry heavy armies as movement is quite ponderous and pre-battle outflanking not allowed. Looks brilliant in 10mm (like most games)!

There are a few guys down the club who play Armarti. They swear by them. They also have a load of funny rulers in "Armati inches" to measure wheels etc. They go to exotic places like Bournemouth for tournaments
I've played it a couple of times and thought it was quite brutal ie units disappear quickly and rigid ie once yours troops are deployed that's about it.
I would agree with Bernie that it suits infantry games
