Anyone know of a good quality saw and what to look for in blades for conversion work. Your help will be much appreciated thanks. :)

Eclipse are (were) a good brand.
Possibly more likely to get these from a hardware shop than a model supplier ?
Might even find them on Amazon.
80 TPi (teeth per inch) blades are my own particular favourite...But they are fairly fragile and snap quite often if you twist them while cutting.
For the saw I use (very rarely nowadays) I know you could get 32. 44, 52, and 60 TPI blades as well as the 80 TPI.

Depends on the thickness of material you're looking to cut Gran.

I've had this saw for roughly twenty years....And I think it was classed as a piercing saw then....But it certainly works with small models.

Cheers - Phil.
