I've just about finished a deal to bring an exciting new range of 28mm figures over to the UK, with Minibits being their exclusive stockist! I'll update as soon as they arrive here, but let's just say that they're super figures...
;) :D
Giantism.....and tease. :'(
IanS
We wait with baited wotsits ;)
What do you bait a wotsit with? A curlie-wurlie?
Mollinary (waiting with bated breath) :D ;)
Primula 'cheese'.
One is not a food, the other not a cheese.

What silly names to call paint colours
No sillier than Skull White and Chaos Black as sold by another well known company.

Sorry are they REALLY names of the colours?
I have a feeling a SUPER new range of 'bits' is on the way :-\
Really hoping it's the Old Glory superhero range!

Nope...it's a meme :)
Right - idle speculation - I go for these ones:

Do I win a free set once they've landed Leon? :D :d
Second one is very cool. Pity I don't do 28mm :(

Cool for cats - I could give her a squeeze... ;)
This range is almost here now, I've got half of it in hand, the rest is halfway over the Atlantic somewhere!

:-[ X_X
All I need to do is get the pics taken for the release, and it's good to go. The helmet conversions came through from Techno as well, so we can get those moulded and released pretty quickly afterwards hopefully.
Never mind the Falklands, show us a piccie of one of this new range and stop teasing.

This could get expensive, now got my eyes on falklands, more Austrian Naps and possibly some landsknechts... :-\

Helmet conversions? This wouldn't ironically be the long lusted for AWI figures super-sized? :d
28mm from across the Pond eh? Sounds intriguing... :D
Nik guessed correctly, and they are now available: http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php/topic,5929.0.html (http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php/topic,5929.0.html)

Sorry, decidedly underwhelmed by these, just not my cup of vodka.

But I believe that they will indeed float Mexican Dave's boat as he's got a pulp superhero game on the blocks just waiting for him to start painting them.
He also has a shedload of other stuff just waiting for him to get his painting mojo on the go.
Franco Prussian war - both sides
Napoleonic 1809 - both sides
Vietnam - both sides (but I believe he has started them)
Ancients - both sides
Fantasy - he only has the Elves to do, been getting around to them for at least 4 years.l :-\
etc
etc
etc
so I'd expect him to be looking at these around about 2016 (he's a VERY slow painter, he's very good but oh so slow)

Yay - good guess eh? :D
I like 'em...I might have to pick up a few to paint - not particularly into SH gaming, but if I painted 'em a bit dark & dirty they'd get a runout in something....actually, thinking about it - these would work for the Eclipse Phase RPG that ronan & I have been discussing here http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php/topic,5910.0.html (http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php/topic,5910.0.html)...hmm...look:

These could work I think - painted in a non-cartoony way...

The sleek nature of SH-type figures fits quite well with the slinky nature of Transhumans...Hmm... 8)
What a good idea !
I was stuck thinking about 10mm !
Nik : are you a God ? ???
Some serious Totty material there....and as always Nik is involved :D

No surprise there though, eh? :)
Actually - maybe I could be a totty god? Sounds like a decent career move... :d
GordonY is correct. I like these :)
Are they coming to Skelp.Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease. :D
Having 10mm painting frenzy at the moment.
So working on that list ;D ;D

Should be, they'll be on the Minibits stand from Colours onwards. The only limitations will be where we can't get the extra stand space, but we've asked for 24-30ft at Skelp, so you'll have to badger the guys to make sure there's room!
:D
My order's in - definitely going to have fun with these and paint them more for sci-fi than superheroes a la Eclipse Phase (and Numenera further down the line); I think the head-swap possibilities are great and I'm looking forward to mixing that up a bit too...
One of the attractions, for me, of this type of gaming is that you don't need loads of figures...less is more and all that...which somehow I manage to accommodate in my megalomaniac wargaming mind :d
Nice mention for Minibits on the Crossover site too: http://crossoverminiatures.com/2012/09/03/minibits-is-the-new-uk-stockist-for-crossover-miniatures/ 8)
Aye, looking good! Got to get the new rack sorted tomorrow ready for Colours this weekend.
8)
ah, like the look of some of them. Not my cup of gaming tea, but certainly nice to paint. Make a refreshing change from regiments of 10mm and 15mm figures! Will pick a couple up at whichever show we coincide at..

Cool, it'll possibly be Fiasco next at the Royal Armouries? :-\
I'll be at the FIASCO Armouries, have about £150 of paint and basetex to pick up.
Does that mean you're not sure if Pendraken are in or not?

We're all booked in, have been for months, I just wasn't sure if you were going along to it. 8)
