Title: New ACW Cav - silly question !
Post by: Sussex.john on 23 July 2012, 05:17:06 PM
Very pleased with these figures - great detail for 10mm - in fact just great detail :)

Some of the horses have some extra lead from the casting process (this appears from the body of the horse to the base) - do people cut this away - if so how easy is it to remove?

Yes, it is easy to cut away with a scalpel, and in no way harms the durability of the figure.

it is required to allow the metal to 'fill' the mould effectively

Yep.

The feeds come away pretty easily, either with a pair of snips, or a bit of pressure on a craft knife should do it.
