Buildings are 6mm Mura.
Better detail, I hope. Dear Amiteratsu and Amida Buddha, I hate computers!
The peasant shot make reasonable monks, though the range could really use a little stretching.
Look wonderful! :D
Cool! :D
Great views! :)
...which means little skewers of grilled meat (try 'em when you're in Japan. Pricey but worth it). And don't let a Pole command your samurai horse!
Getting ready to impale the next pontificating half-wit who says a naga-yari isn't a pike.
Looking great! Maybe some flock on the bases?
Spikey!
:D
Let me try two pictures at once this time.

I dislike flock unless the cloth has the same finish.
Ohh, you could have got two posts for that!
Nice figures! :D
Fair enough.
:D
Still lovely!
One reason why I have given up on ancients is that they don't use flags enough. The things go a long way towards compensating for being less than a Leonardo with a paintbrush.
look good

VERY nice !!
(I hate computers too !)
Cheers - Phil.

Obviously isn't a pike....A salmon...
possibly a trout.
Don't you know anything about angling FK ?
(I certainly don't.)
Cheers - A pontificating half-wit......AAARGH !! That hurt !! ;)

That fish is a sore point. When I was a student in the UK, I caught quite a lot of them, but never one of a size suitable for eating; always too small, or once - memorably - far too large. Quenelles de brochet remain only a tantalising recipe in a book in my experience.
Showing my ignorance (Just for a change)......I was under the impression that pike were absolute b*ggers to catch...or is it just the 'huge' ones, that decimate the local fish population, that fall into that bracket ?....Didn't know they were good to eat either !
Only fishing I've ever done was off a breakwater in Sussex ....mumble, mumble, mumble.....years ago, with my dear old Dad....Think we used to catch something called 'whiting' (?).....Happy carefree days !....We got proper Summers then too.... ;D ;D
Cheers - Mr Nostalgic.
Actually, pike get a bad rap on the subject of voracity. Trout are far greedier. Though as for decimation, I have no idea whether either involves the periodic destruction of 10% of the local finny tribe.
I was under the impression that pike were coarse fish and no good for eating. Oh, and they swear a lot.... before someone else gets in. :P

I'm sure you're right FK.
What makes me laugh is that every so often there's some report 'in the papers' about
all the ducklings/fish/
whatever being eaten in some pond/lake or other, by some 'mystery beast'.
It's always said to be 'a massive pike'...a giant species of catfish..a snapping (?) turtle....some sort of crocodile/alligator...Though nobody's ever put it down to some sort of freshwater Great White....
yet. ;)
Ray....That was beneath you ! ;D ;D ;D
Cheers - Phil.

I can only report that there are a few appetising recipes in the books. Including one in Isaac Walton, which is an amusing read, but I can't track it down on line. Look it up in your library if you can.
But there are plenty of delicious coarse fish. Perch, American black bass, zander, or eels are as good as trout or salmon any day.
Well, you learn something every day. :o
