Hello All,
One of the little projects I am wanting to fulfil with Pendraken miniatures is the combat sections of my WFRP games. For this I 'need' a selection of monsters, heroes and NPCs. I've been having a look through the ranges and because there are no pictures I am finding it hard to know which figures would be right for my period.
For the humans I need figures from around late medieval to the early modern period, typing 'warhammer The Empire' into Google seems like a good start for a feel, but I was wondering if anyone had any specific figure suggestions?
Thanks
Tom
P.s. I have just found the Elizabethan figures and they are a V good start - £££ :D
Any other ideas since I've started this post?
Hi Tom,
great project idea, I always enjoyed WFRP. The Elizabethan's you've found are great for Empire characters, try looking at the Late Roman range command figures for other characters. Dark ages and medieval should turn up some suitable Bretonnian types too.
Look through the photo threads on the forum to find photos of many that aren't illustrated in the catalogue, also the Dungeons section of the forum.
Let us know how it goes!
Cheers,
Kev
Hi Kev,
Good call on the other ranges. I'm also looking for general civilians/NPCs, any ideas?
If you are coming along to the birthday bash it'd be good to do some brain storming/swap WFRP stories =D
Tom
There are a good set of civilians in one of the Arab ranges, might be the sudan range?
Hi Tom,
Sadly I won't be making it to the Birthday Bash, but start up a thread in the Fantasy section of the forum and I'm sure we can brain storm ;D Might even manage to get a few others to chip, more the merrier and all that.
As for civilians, I think someone suggested the fantasy 'beggars' range in an old thread, but I've not seen them. Scour the ranges and you should be ble to find a few things - 10mm are particularly forgiving.
Cheers,
Kev
The SYW civvies might be useful too...
Good suggestion Nik, I'll have to see if I can find some pics of those.
Cheers,
Kev
Looking forward to them Kev :)
