I'm using Pendraken palms and a home-made oasis, plywood hills/dunes, a 1:300 Timecast mosque, Essex 1:300 North African town boildings, and strips of shiny cloth for the Nile. I:300 buildings go well with 10mm, I find.
Want a copy of my rules? They're virgins, since I've just finished writing them (I think I've finished), but have a good way to go with panting the armies.

Kerr and king have a nice 10mm desert village pack - it features in many of Nik's battle reports!

Yep I'll second the Kerr and King buildings, look for "Desert City in a box" on their website, dunno what the prices are like now but it was £22 for 14 buidlings when I bought it, and some of those 14 are rather large chunks of resin.

Yep - that's how I got mine - basically, all of the items in the pic above = 14 buildings, some of which I've based together. Looks like it's £27.50 now.
