Mmmmm, these I really like...
Are these all Pendraken minis?? I have to admit I've never looked at the sci fi catalogue pages... :-[

Yep - they certainly are all Pendraken  :)

Basically (and with the Germans) I've mixed up some of the sci-fi hulls & turrets with German & US AFVs and then used 'normal' WW2 codes where I think the actual things look outlandish enough anyway  :D

So - you've got 'normal' M10s & Tetrarchs here, the M5 tractor without its roof as the transport & then the 'weird' armour is sci-fi walkers with US turrets & M10 hulls with sci-fi turrets...troops are the sci-fi Troopers (I love these figures). Oh - and sci-fi security robots on the command stands  8)

I can post the codes I used if you like?

Heckity feck!, now you've got me thinking I "need" some 2.5 Japanese - those walkers would look mighty with some Japanese armour camo & flags, or even a "who-needs-fecking-camo-we're-so-hard" red and white colour scheme.
Father's day is just around the corner - hmmmmm....!!
I shall muse further on this project after completed today's chores (replacing the heating element on my Bio-Diesel processor and a few other bits...)

That'd look great...go on, you know you want to  ;) ;D

Blimey mate, you and Chris are not helping me in deciding how to spend my cash from the recent table top sale :'( :'( :'(. I'm trying to focus on Maurice and WMA forces, but then you both throw Vietnam and WW2.5 into the mix!!! I just need to go and lie down in a quiet darkened room for a bit to try not to think of this ;).

Nik - you is confusing me - those hulls are M-18, and you are saying M-10. They have torsion bar suspension - not VVSS as on M10/M36.

Vrey nice btw.

These are excellent.  I always like seeing new things done with our stuff, and it's surprising how well the Sci-Fi and WWII hulls/turrets have blended together.

Ah, well done, all in the signature Harwood style. Though I have no idea what those giant hair-dryers have to do with anything  :P

Nice work Nik, it all jells together as a great unit.

Two questions if I may, whack walker did you use and which sic-fI tank did you take use the turrets from?

Not that I'd dream of 'borrowing' your ideas ;)

Cheers,

Kev

Thanks Kev

The walker is SF9 but I've bunged on a different turret - from Brit tank [?] I think - from the spares box..

The sci-fi turrets on the M18s are from one of the Hovertanks - I *think* SF7 [if not, it's SF8!]...but Leon can confirm?  :)

I don't think they are...I think they're Crusader II or III...

Crusader they aint - they would be angular, III with flat, II with rounded face, single hatch, and stowage box on rear. Could be from the Panhard A/C but still think M13/40.

Hi Nik

did you get around to sorting out the stats lists for WW2.5? - I've checked on SMP site under FWC - army lists but can't find them there.

This is the most amazing forum - I decided to trawl through all postings on all subjects - its taken me ages but I am now keen on several more periods as a result!

When you also look at all of the catalogue it is truly awesome how much Pendraken produce and how much can be used as cross-over too.

Nope - not yet I'm afraid...Real Life keeps getting in the way - although I'll try & get something done in the next few days now that I've thought about this again  :)

Dagnabbit, Mr Harwood... >:(

You really have to stop inspiring us all like this...

Marvellous stuff sir as usual and i love the idea of combining the sci-fi and WWII ranges for WWWII.  Add in some fantasy stuff (German V-gas zombies, werewolves, etc.) and you're covering all the bases...

And then it's only a small step to the 'Dungeon mistress in Nazi uniform with riding crop' type figure. Should be right up your alley, Nik?  :D
