Hello All, Dr Dave here - I'm finally taking the plunge and getting 10mm North Africa WW2 - and dumping my 6mm stuff.
So here's my 1st Pendraken posting:
Which figures in the DAK / 8th Army packs are lying down / prone. I'd like all mine upright and not skulking around on the ground! ;)
Hi
8th army are all upright (even the bren gunner).
The only pose prone is the boys AT rifle guy but it`s a nice figure.
The Vickers crew are sitting as expected.
not sure about old gerry as I don`t have any.

Hi Dr Dave
All of the DAK are upright, MG crew are sort of kneeling, the pic shown by NTM are GR148 I think. The other kit, GR 149 has the more traditional tripod mounted M34/42. DAK radio operators (GR153) are all kneeling down by their sets.
Have fun
Dave Fairlamb
Your DAK figures are usually all prone dave.
Well they are when I catch them in the open with my artillery.
Ha Ha Ha.

Yes, I believe the first Tiger KO'd by the Wetern Allies was by a Churchill of the NIH in Tunisia.
Sounds like first tank kill, first kill was a 6pdr A/T, although a Major who was there used to insist it was a 2pdr which stripped the tracks.

How many tigers went to tunisia.
Not very many - 10-12 without looking it up. None came back :d
