Title: A very American Civil War
Post by: hamsterking on 30 May 2012, 12:19:55 PM
http://www.historynet.com/the-bonus-army-war-in-washington.htm

Sounds very similar in flavour to the British Hunger Marches.

I thought this article was pretty interesting and it suggests that there are legitimate threads one could pull together for a VACW if one was so inclined.

That was a great article.  8)

Paul Beck has put together the Second American Civil War fluff that takes place in the 1930s.  If anyone is interested, PM me and I will send you the info.

Agreed, very interesting article.

A good read, helps shed a bit more light on the mind of pre war US.  :-\

Hi

You could look here http://theminiaturespage.com/boards/msg.mv?id=165235 (http://theminiaturespage.com/boards/msg.mv?id=165235) and there is a Yahoo group http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/acw2/?yguid=313396994 (http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/acw2/?yguid=313396994) - if you look in the Attachments there is a background booklet with lists for a skirmish set.

Cheers
