Very cool. Do the oars stay glued to the body or do you need to affix the entire model to a base?

There should be enough purchase to glue the oars straight to the hull, but it'd probably be better to either base it or put some pins in for strength.

Thats what I was thinking, I ordered about 6 of those several years ago for a project that was shelved for other shiny things   :D

My big issue was the question: to base or not to base, if to base then what size, big enough to protect the model all round or just cut to fit the outline of the model?

Maybe revisit that project one day, they look cool.

Ok Leon, thanks in deed.

I am interested in it, but not to purchase by now... need to paint first (or reduce) a little lead mountaing I have around here.
