It feels like ages since we've had some new stuff to show off, but we've been squirelling it all away during the move, and I've finally grabbed a bit of time to start going through it all! First up is a load of vehicles to add to our SCW, WW2 and Vietnam ranges!
Starting with the SCW, Forum member Steve J has been busy working on an Armoured truck. Typical of the period, this is a bizarre looking bit of kit, but it's a great model with loads of details and and is a welcome addition to the SCW range.

Moving on to WW2, one of our other designers recently sent up a cracking little batch of goodies, with additions for the British, US and Hungarian ranges.
We'll start with the M12 SPG. Built on the M3 chassis, 100 of these were built and most were sent into France for the invasion.

For the Brits, we've got a conversion of the Universal Carrier, into an armoured ambulance.

And finally, to double the number of codes in our Hungarian range, we've got the Toldi II! This was an uprated version of the Toldi I, using the same chassis but with thicker front armour.

Moving on to Vietnam, we've got a couple of things which have been present on the request lists for quite some time. We'll start with the M48 'Patton', which is a fantastic looking model. This was the US Army's main battle tank during Vietnam, with over 12,000 produced in total. We've also got an infra-red box for this one as well.

Next up is the widely used PT-76, which was seen in combat all over the world, notably the Soviet Union, Iraq, North Korea, and usefully for us, North Vietnam.

And bringing up the rear, we've got a couple of variants of the M113. The first of these is the M125 version, with an 81mm mortar situated in the back. The second variant is the M132 'Zippo', with a flamethrower turret, along with a .50 cal. These two should help dig the enemy out of the jungle!

And just for size comparison, here they all are lined up:

So that's it for this first batch of masters! I'll be working through some of the other packages over the next few days, so keep an eye out for loads of new ACW, Naps, and Falklands masters!
As always, let us know what you think!

The M48 looks the business. And the PT76 and M113 variants will fill large gaps in various units.
The armoured lorry just looks weird. I'm sure it's an admirable model - but I keep wondering where Noah is. :D
Stunning.
Believe me there are plenty more that are more weird than this one. I just need to find the time to make them :).

I've been wanting to do a PT-76 reece battalion for my arab 1967 army for ages but wasn't going to pay minifigs £3.45 per tank crazy prices! When will these be on sale, please say in time for Triples!

I even had the Polythene Airfix version when I was a nipper, probably one of my very first war toys!
I'll have to eventually get the Vietnam vehicles when I get back into my Nam project.

Agreed. That Toldi does it for me as well. :D
Dammit Leon! I've been waiting all day to look at this thread as the photos are blocked at work - mutter mutter!
It was worth the wait though :D They all look excellent! The ambulance and Toldi are going on 'the list' and that Patton looks HOT! I'm not getting sucked though, oh no I'm not ......
Cheers,
Kev

Nah, that's not a good idea!
:P
Hey wait, wasnt there a picture of Dave casting in the new building even before it was finished being moved into?? Leon is cracking that whip way too much on Dave, at least give him some porridge :P
I'd always pictured him being chauffeured to power-lunches with the other captains of industry. ;)
The big 30(that is posts, not my age!!! does this mean I'm not a cadet :D)
As people in the past have been familiar with more short email responses I'm not allowed near them, all the new Vietnam stuff is moulded and the ww2 best not forget :), the M12 looks like it can be easily converted to the M30 munitions carrier. I've picked up the new helmet to take around the shows - Prussian picklehaube - i like spiky helmets!!!
Dave :>
