This is a fan topic I guess...
Just finishing another division of 1870 French this morning, and I had forgotten that the soldiers in the infantry charging have Napoleon III moustaches and beards, as do the dragoons! :D
Oh and the officers in the awi command packs are amazing too!
What other unexpected details have we all found?

Have you seen the 1859 Imperial Grenadiers Charging? Similar detail; full of elan.

That the French 1870 Imperial Guard figures clearly have different cuffs for the grenadiers and voltigeurs. That all
the French 1870 infantry have beautifully rendered equipment including tentpoles. Overall this is a lovely range.

Putting on the magifier headband and finding the ECW musketteers were wearing apostles. I swore.
Cuff details on WSS.
I'm sure there are other things I've cursed the sculpters for!
Clib's Later Roman Militia - two thirds of the sculpts are bald and they come with a choice of beard!! WOW! :D
Some of the LOA figures from Clib have clearly sculpted eyeballs?....
Well, eyelids on the LoA, even I wouldn't attempt to paint eyeballs on a 10mm. I leave that kind of madness to Carl of Raven Painting!
With the Late Roman militia, I wanted to give the impression of older men, the younger ones having been snapped up by the legions already.
Great work Clib, thank you sir!
Thread necromancy par excellence here!
Painting some P4 Hadjuks and there is an axe on their back that just is beautiful, but only comes out when highlights go on!
I have some marching SYW Prussian grenadiers who are laden with just about every bit of equipment you could imagine. I also like the FPW French gunner putting his shoulders to the wheel of the gun to manhandle it into position.
it's so amazing the amount of detail in 10mm youd imagine id loose some detail in the scale but a lot of it shows.
And as that was your first post, LinLin....
A very warm welcome to the forum. :-h
Cheers - Phil
My favourite is Godfrey with his Thermos flask, hiding somewhere amongst the WWII minis...
Can anyone remember which pack he's in? I hope it's a PD mini... :-[

I noticed that as well. Also the feather detail on the husaria lends itself perfectly for drybrushing. The fact that the husaria wings being separate is also good.
