Option 2: Flat to flat

Option 3: Until you produce dodecahedrons, I ain't voting...

We were recently chatting about this in the workshop, and a bit of a browse online showed other base suppliers varying between the two methods of measuring. So which way would most people expect them to be measured? Whatever this poll decides will be the way we do them going forward!
:-\
(Just for interest, we currently measure point to point.)

Flat to flat as you can get consistent measurement for quality control. However with point to point you can you a circular hole to check its accuracy.

That would explain the very small 50mm Hexagons I received then. I was going to talk to you about that ;) Flat to Flat please
Greetings
Flat to flat is the traditional way of measuring hex maps.

Flat to flat is also centre to centre on a hex map; which is the use of hexes I was brought up on. Of course, once I know I can work with it. In fact since the other place I would order bases from does flat-to-flat I might be just as happy if you don't change.
The results of the poll are quite decisive, so I'll be changing the hex bases as soon as I can. I've got a new laser machine coming on Thursday as well, so I'll be redrawing most of the files for the new software anyway.

All bases are now measured flat to flat, anyone who bought any of the old types, let me know and I'll send you some replacements out.
