The succes of Dazza's AWI thread encouraged me to start a thread with pictures of WSS figures, all done by me, celebrated Pawel Chrzanowski and some others ours wargaming pals.
To begin with regiments of minor German states (here in firefight with regiment Navarre).

Those really are beautifully done, you should all be proud of your efforts! Oh and really nice to see them in a realistic setting.
Really good. Have you done some minor head alterations on these?
Quotewhose flags are those
Munster, Sachsen Weimar nad Wurzburg.
QuoteHave you done some minor head alterations
In leftmost battalion I've completely changed the heads.
In shooting figures I've bent some heads to avoid "clone effect".
An generally: Thank you guys !

Agreed with all above, very good and stimulating. Do you base one regiment onto a base? I see each base tends to have a flage indicating this is a one base battalion/regiment system. Which rules? Black Powder, Maurice ...

My armies are based for Polemos, so one base equals one battalion.
Instead 6 cm wide bases (as suggested in rules) we decided to use 4 cm wide bases, to reduce the terrain scale and amount of figures to paint.
Absolutely fantastic!
I resumed posting pictures of WSS troops on my blog.
Today - Hanoverian dragoons.

Are you sure these are really 10mm figurers and not 28mm shrunk down? :d
Lovely work 8).
Pawel in my view is one of the top 10mm painters going, it doesn't matter what the period is, he really turns out some cracking figures. Well done to you all

Many thanks for kind comments.
Yes, I make the flags myself. It requires a bit of work, but so far I haven't found nothing equal in quality and range among flags available commerically.
I hope, soon I will be able to post some of my works, not only Paweł's.
Very nice indeed
Take care
