Just finished my first stab at 10mm figures (and my first wargame unit for more years than I care to remember). The figures are based for Phil Barker's Horse Foot and Gun with some reduction in the number of figures per base to get them to fit (infantry bases are 40 x 30). They represent a BEF Division at full strength plus a couple of cavalry elements. Hope they're of interest; any feedback gratefully received before I start on the opposition.

Many thanks for the very kind comments. Next up the Germans but might have to get some reinforcements for the BEF at Salute. Definitely need some Highlanders to make this a truly British Expeditionary Force.
Excellent stuff !!
Cheers - Phil.
Jolly nice paint job of the old contemptibles.
very nice
Andy
Very nice looking figures and bases - and for a divisional size game which makes it all the better
Many thanks - my plan, Bernie, is to make up a complete Corps plus the Cavalry Division and (probably) 19 Inf Brigade to allow refights of Mons and le Cateau. Gotta do the Germans first though!
Interesting period of the war before the industrialised killing of the trench period
Remember to do some French to at least denote your flanks or lack of them
Best of luck with the project
Great. Particularly like the command stand. 8) You seem to be lacking machine-gunners, though.
Excellent work Sir!
Looking forward to seeing the Highlanders.
meanwhile the photos have gone in my inspiration gallery :)
Apologises for lateness been on holiday! but those are V Nice 8)
These are really nice, will hopefully help convince my friend they he should get his BEF in 10mm. :)
