Hi all!
I started a few days ago a Dungeon project at my place. Will post here the pics and the improvements I do as I advance.
The general idea is to have a board where to play with the different parts, but leaving the feeling of a real dungeon. I started with a board of 60 cm x 60 cm which i cut into two to allow a better storage. I also have a nother piece of 30 cm x 60 cm just in case I want to extend the dungeon in one direction. This will leave a board up to 90 cm x 60 xm where you can put different patterns of mazes. The material I am using for the sides is polystyrene (also known as Thermocole), which I modeled a bit before glueing into the wooden board. Is of the same high as the dungeon pieces, and later I pretend to put a cover in the shape of a hill top over it.
So far, is the point where I am now. Will do some paste modeling in the joints of the polystyrene to cover the holes

That's a great idea - looking forward to seeing this one progress 8)
Excellent, thanks for the pic. I'll be waiting to see how this comes along.

Hi folks!
Is a bit since the last (and first) post of this thread, but I have been quite bussy wth other projects and I could not keep up with this one. So today I decided to go a further with it and here are the results
First I finished the 30 x60 cm part that was missing for the previous post. I had it cut but not glued.
The whole board will look like this

After finishing the frame, it was time to put some paste over the polystyrene, to cover the holes and to give it some uniform view. I used two differnt types, as I had a pot that was near finished and the rest from another which is the one I am using right now for all my projects. The first one will need some 1 or 2 days to dry, but the second one will do it in a few hours. After is completely dry, I will use a sandpaper to smoth the complete set, filling any hole that was left in this previous part.
The board looks like this at this point

So, hope will be able to follow in a few days with this, guys
Cheers!!
Looking forward to watch this progress too !
Cheers - Phil.
That's a pretty clever way of setting up the base of the dungeon. I'm looking forward to seeing what sort of layouts you'll be able to achieve.
