This is my Venetian army painted by my friend Bill Angus, flags and basing by me. These were amongst the 1st Pendraken figures I bought - only two and a half years to get to this stage :-[
Wow really impressive. And really really nice. Any chance of seeing the pic bigger?
I hope this link works http://www.flickr.com/photos/sandinista09/6869032666/in/photostream
Very nice 8)
There's colourful.
Impressive! I take it these are Renaissance, rather than Medieval? :-\

Yes, late 15th/early 16th century to fit in with the Turks, Persians (nearly finished) and Egyptians/Mameluks (just bought 1st bits). Balkan states may then be next...
Not to mention the Italian Wars. They could stand around at Fornovo and Bicocca and watch their allies get slaughtered - well, they were a byword for duplicity. :D
One city state and a merc' force under the brush as we speak ;)
Oh and those pesky Persians :D
I really like the flags of the medieval/early renaissance timeframe. You end up with such a colorful army plus the flags. It is great.
Have you looked at Coat of Steel by Perfect Captain? It is War of the Roses, late 1400's, but I suspect you could modify it for some early renaissance. And my War of the Roses army is slowly coming together.
