Title: BW10 British maxim gun cart with horses picture
Post by: tschuma on 22 March 2012, 03:46:59 PM
Can someone who has assembled the maxim gun cart post a pic?  I have a couple to put together, but not sure how the gun and gunner mount to the cart.

Thanks in advance

Try this one:

I've got the same model and the same question...  The way I see it the gun is pointing to the rear (makes sense I guess) the horses are in front of one another when the gun is in transit; for firing the horses would need to be unhinged of the cart and the cart would rest on the towbars (don't know if that's the correct word...?) the gunner is then either squatting or kneeling behind the gun. I guess the figure in the model is supposed to be either squatting  or bending forward to the gun.
Hope this helps somehow?

Cheers,
Rob
