Hello,
I just start my 1859 project and can't find informations about the Piedmontese uniforms, any suggestions?

I would recommend The Second Italian War Of Independence 1859 by Luigi  Casali, it is a wargaming guide available from Caliver Books in the UK. It should provide you with the information that you need.

Possibly these links:

The Casali book is an excellent starting point. There are also some engravings of Sardinian light cavalry in the Continental Wars Society's booklet Montebello by Ralph Weaver, probably also available from Caliver.

If you haven't got these rules <http://www.mediaevalmisc.com/gtr/1859-reviews.htm> then you must get them for this period; they are full of so much information and an excellent bibliography even if you don't play them they are invaluable. In addition the Osprey SOLFERINO book <http://www.ospreypublishing.com/store/Solferino-1859_9781846033858> is another must have.

Also useful for the Austrians: http://www.ospreypublishing.com/store/The-Austrian-Army-1836%E2%80%9366-%281%29_9781855328013 and http://www.ospreypublishing.com/store/The-Austrian-Army-1836%E2%80%9366-%282%29_9781855328006

Have fun painting.

Ssshhhh: 15mm stuff, but don't tell anyone I said so ... http://exmouthwargames.blogspot.co.uk/2012_01_01_archive.html
