Title: Schleswig-Holstein sources
Post by: hamsterking on 19 March 2012, 08:44:37 AM
While digging around for some pictorial sources on the First Schleswig-Holstein War I found some interesting stuff on the Anne S.k. Browne Military Collection site. Mainly contemporary monochromatic prints so not much use for uniform details but still full of atmosphere. Just note that the material is stored in some kind of wierd archive format so you will have to play around to find out which access option works for you.

http://library.brown.edu/cds/askb/ and search under holstein.

Very interesting resource. I can foresee myself spending quite a few hours here.
