Title: 1990's Russians and Chechens?
Post by: Uesugi Kenshin on 22 April 2010, 10:56:04 AM
Another conflict I'm fascinated by and also amazed at the lack of minis for the period. Russians could obviously cover all of the Balkan/Caucus conflicts, incl the Georgian invasion and the 2 Chechen Wars. Chechens need to be done in many scales but in 10mm could allow gamers to game the battle for Grozny in large scale.

I figure infantry to start for both sides then Russian vehicles/aircraft could follow. A selection of ruined buildings would be a crowning achievment!

Anyone else on board?

I think this would be one of those ranges that we'd be unlikely to do.  We've got so many requests for other things at the moment, and the modern stuff would be a big undertaking.

In plastic 1/72, Haaron from Orion made figures of this conflict.

(I know I know that is not 10mm)
