I have (almost) completed my unit of 9th Hussars for Lasalle. I say almost because I'm basing 4 to a stand, there's 4 stands in the unit and (sigh) Pendraken sells cav in packs of 15. ;)

You should have said, I could have popped an extra figure in for you!

Wow! Those do look good!
I just finished my first cavalry unit, French Chasseurs and so far, I have been impressed with the ease of painting of the new 1809 Napoleonics line. The sculpter did a good job with upraised detail.
Very nicely done 8)
Looking great - cant wait to get around to some Cav myself.
Like them a lot. Nothing like a hussar unit to brighten up the battlefield. :-bd
And you've got three figures towards the next regiment. :D
Gorgeous. Have you thought about adding a bit of gravel and static grass to the flock? I used to flock my bases like yours, ie just flock, then a chum suggested I add a bit of the above, what a difference, your figures are amazing, try a bit of extra on the bases to really show them off; hope you don't mind my 'two cents worth'.
Quite agree, my own standard "flock" is a mix of builders sand, flock, railway balast and some of Leon's scatter stuff, gives the flocking a patchy look with some boulders strewn hither and yon.
I agree that I need to hone my basing technique. I just started with 10mm in December and I'm still getting used to the scale.
Sam,
Heresy of heresies - look at Peter Berry's Baccus website, and the Baccus basing system. The easy to use guide, and the kit give great results. A slightly larger size of sand can help, but the whole system works very well for 10mm as well as 6mm.
