Title: My first AWI
Post by: Jerrylee on 12 February 2012, 03:55:44 PM
I have asked for plenty of help from this forum, so I thought I'd post some photos to show the help was not in vein  :)
They may not be perfect but I love them!  :D

This might be me showing my ignorance, but as far as I'm aware the Yanks only had one flag per battalion, it was the Brits that carried 2 colours. Apart from that top notch, I know how nice these figs are as I've just finished both my armies. This is my happy face!  :D :D :D

They look great Jerry !!!  8) I especially like the larger bases you've used for the dragoons - they look just right.

Von Steuben's regulations for the Continental army specified two flags per regiment - 1 national colour and 1 regimental, as per British battalions. However so little is known about what colours were actually flown in reality that you can safely choose to do whatever you want !
