If Leon and Dave don't mind that is, can people please sign the petition below, please read it first its pretty self explanatory.
If the bill goes through it will not only effect sick and disabled people but a lot of veterans as well. One of my friends a former veteran who lost both his legs and an arm in Afghanistan has been told if the the bill goes through he will lose most of his benefits :o the feckin jobcentre seem to think he's able for work =O what feckin planet are these people living on. >:(
I served my country, worked paid my taxes and NI and expected to be looked after if I became ill or disabled, what I did not expect was to have to jump through bleeding hoops to get these benefits. Serving your country seems to mean nothing to politicians these days what they seem to forget is that it's the armed forces who have to clean up the mess they make.
